Growing Up

Today my sister Tiffany came over, and brought along my adorable nephew Aidrik (and a coffee for me, yay!). I grabbed him from her arms to say hello, and was surprised by how big he is getting. He is going to be a year old on June 22, and I can’t believe how fast time flies by, and how quickly he has grown.

He surfs along anything that helps him steady himself as he learns to walk. He can almost let go and venture out on his own. Grinning the entire way around my couch, he giggles at my dogs and grabs anything nearby to either chew on or play with.

I love the innocence of children. It’s so refreshing. I love how they are fascinated with the world around them. Everything is interesting, even a piece of crumpled paper that makes noise. Babies are fun.

Anyways, here’s to life and being accepted into a family!

The Beginning

Well, I decided to start my own personal blog. I have blogged in the past on MySpace, which is entirely frustrating - so here I am with my “real” blog. What I’m going to write about is just life in general. I want to record my thoughts with both words and photography. I recently bought my own camera that I’ll be taking most places with me so I can document this life of mine :)

I hope to make some new friends and inform some old friends. I also hope that this will be my “diary” of sorts that I can look back in times to come. A way to remember the little things in life that make up each day that we often take for granted or simply forget. Hopefully this will be a good read, and maybe you and I will even find some friendship along the way.

Thanks for looking!

peace.
